I'm Chantel McAlister
PHOTOGRAPHY COACH
I am a former sheep and wool photographer based in Brisbane who spent years fine tuning my craft and I am now here to help others realise their photography dreams.
I have split my life equally between outback Australia and the city, gaining a deep appreciation and lust for life in all of it's forms, locations and size.
When I'm not immersing myself in the magic of photography or fulfilling my life's purpose of guiding other creatives, you can find me doting on my 5 year old son, thrift shopping or at my local Pilates studio.
Now, I want to help you achieve your goals, one photo at a time.
I was gifted my first camera when I was 12 years old and fell in love with the magic of photography instantly. To this day I am still fascinated that a photo can freeze time and remain perfectly the same while our memories fade around the edges.
My professional photography career has spanned over a decade and has taken me from coast to coast in Australia and everywhere inbetween.
I am self taught and took the long road in my creative journey. It was isolating and frustrating, something that I aim for no other photography lover to ever have to experience.
